The Family Space offers Supervised Parenting Time
During the Week, Weekends, and Holidays
At The Family Space, we believe in the power of community. We offer a range of programs and services designed to help families thrive, including coaching, mentoring, and supervised parenting time. Our experienced team is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where families can grow and learn together.
For parents interested in supervised parenting time, we offer supervision during the week, during the weekends, and on holidays. Our rates are $60/hour during the hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. Not including holidays, our rates outside of normal business hours are $65/hour, Saturdays are $75/hour, and Sundays are $85/hour. Holiday rates vary, depending on the holiday itself. Our availability for supervised parenting time is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. We have parenting space available on-site and we will travel to other locations.
Our office building is located at 1383 Route 28A, Cataumet, MA 02534, located directly across from Daily Brew. Although it is a commercial building, it is more like a home than a boring office. Behind the building, there are 18 acres of conservation land. Directly across the street from the building, there are pastries, sandwiches, mini golf, ice cream, and candy. If you follow the sidewalk for about 1 mile, you'll find yourself at North Falmouth library, a playground, basketball, tennis, pickleball, baseball, and softball. Go another .3 miles and you'll be at Megansett Beach. The bike path to Woods Hole starts at the railroad tracks at the intersection of Route 28A and Route 151. There are so many options!
Ms. Richardson is a mandatory reporter pursuant to G.L. c. 119, s. 21 as well as certified in CPR and first aid. Prior to supervising a visit, she will review the following with the adults involved:
>The Court's Order regarding parenting time;
>The Parenting Time Checklist maintained for each visit;
>Review Reporting and Record Maintenance;
>Review Safety and Security Procedures; and
>The Intake Form.
Your case file will include:
>Names of each parent and child, and guardian, if applicable;
>Dates of birth for each parent and child, and guardian, if applicable;
>Address of each parent and child, and guardian, if applicable;
>Telephone numbers of each parent and child, and guardian, if applicable;
>Emergency contact and telephone number;
>If applicable, your attorney's contact information;
>The written agreement between the adults and The Family Space;
>If applicable, other persons authorized to participate in, or to be excluded from, the parenting time;
>Relevant Court Orders;
>Consents for release of information, if any; and
>Observation notes, reports, and Supervised Parenting Time Logs.
